Prize Money
There are a total of 9 prizes (in the form of cash, book prizes and certificate) as follows:
- 1st prize – 1 lakh
- 2nd prize – Rs. 75,000/-
- 3rd prize – Rs. 50,000/-
- “Finalists” – three prizes of Rs. 10,000/- and a book prize worth Rs. 10,000/- each.
- “Honourable mentions” – three prizes of Rs. 10,000/- each.
There is no general “Certificate of Participation”.
The prize money will be net of withholding tax (currently 30%) and any other indirect taxes as may be applicable.
Winning authors will have the option to have their articles published on Mondaq
